How Does Skin Tightening Work?
Our skin tightening treatments are performed with the Rejuvapen NXT microneedling device in one of our office procedure rooms. The microneedling takes about 30 – 60 minutes with numbing cream or local anesthesia if desired, but patients generally experience little or no discomfort. The skin being addressed will be cleaned before the Rejuvapen NXT handpiece is evenly passed over. After the microneedling is performed, a treatment, like PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), can be applied for deeper penetration of the nutrients into the skin. A moisturizer selected for your skin type will be massaged in along with sunscreen because your skin will be more sensitive after the treatment.
