Even though you may have smiled, frowned, laughed, and made other expressions without concern in earlier years, you may now be noticing that the facial lines and wrinkles created by these expressions are remaining even after your face relaxes. These lines are known as dynamic wrinkles, and they are caused by the overuse of the facial muscles that make them stay contracted, creating etched lines in the overlying skin. XEOMIN is an injectable wrinkle relaxer that, similar to BOTOX®, temporarily relaxes the treated facial muscle with a strain of purified botulinum so your dynamic wrinkles appear smoother and softer. At My Aesthetics Intelligence in Dallas, TX, we offer many aesthetic and medical dermatology services similar to XEOMIN nonsurgical wrinkle relaxer treatments. Schedule a consultation with nurse practitioner Annie Nguyen for more information about XEOMIN.

XEOMIN provides lots of benefits for Dallas, TX people who are hoping to remove lines and creases from obvious spots. When your frustrations are getting in the way of your life and goal appearance, XEOMIN should:

  • Offer an accessible, low-risk choice for a wide array of ideal candidates
  • Diminish wrinkles and regions of extra skin
  • Take on signs of aging from local triggers, such as cigarettes or smile lines
  • Reduce obvious signs of aging

XEOMIN helps to decrease the look of dynamic wrinkles on your face, such as forehead lines, Crow's feet, smile and laugh lines, or frown lines. XEOMIN is best if you are in good general health, are not currently pregnant, and have never had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin products, including BOTOX and Dysport. Talk to Annie at your consultation about your current medications, cosmetic goals, and medical history so she can personalize a XEOMIN treatment plan that is specific to you.

XEOMIN treatments at My Aesthetics Intelligence usually last less than 30 minutes and can be completed in our procedure room after your consultation. The areas of the face receiving treatment will be sterilized before XEOMIN is carefully injected with a specialized needle. The treatment is fast, and most patients experience mild or no discomfort, so local anesthesia is not required but can be requested during your consultation. Pressure and cold compresses will be applied to the treatment area to reduce minor bleeding prior to you leaving.

You can leave our facility immediately after your XEOMIN injections to resume your daily activities; however, vigorous exercise should be skipped for the rest of the day. We may recommend that you sleep with your head elevated and use cold compresses periodically to speed healing and results. After a XEOMINtreatment, you may experience bruising, swelling, and redness of the injection sites, but this should heal on its own and can be easily concealed with makeup. Most patients will notice marked improvements 3 – 4 days following their XEOMIN injection lasting about three months. Repeat injections at My Aesthetics Intelligence can be scheduled to sustain your results.

I had such a great experience with Annie! She was very thorough in explaining the process to me and the differences between dysport and xeomin. It's been about 5 days now and my results are amazing!
