How Is XEOMIN Performed?
XEOMIN treatments at My Aesthetics Intelligence usually last less than 30 minutes and can be completed in our procedure room after your consultation. The areas of the face receiving treatment will be sterilized before XEOMIN is carefully injected with a specialized needle. The treatment is fast, and most patients experience mild or no discomfort, so local anesthesia is not required but can be requested during your consultation. Pressure and cold compresses will be applied to the treatment area to reduce minor bleeding prior to you leaving.
What Should I Expect after Getting XEOMIN?
You can leave our facility immediately after your XEOMIN injections to resume your daily activities; however, vigorous exercise should be skipped for the rest of the day. We may recommend that you sleep with your head elevated and use cold compresses periodically to speed healing and results. After a XEOMINtreatment, you may experience bruising, swelling, and redness of the injection sites, but this should heal on its own and can be easily concealed with makeup. Most patients will notice marked improvements 3 – 4 days following their XEOMIN injection lasting about three months. Repeat injections at My Aesthetics Intelligence can be scheduled to sustain your results.

Update: just had my neck done with Annie using xeomin and I love the results. My only regret is that I didn’t do this earlier. Love Annie. She’s so knowledgeable and gets you in and out quickly. She also won’t try to sell you something you won’t like simply to make a quick buck which I feel like most places in the DFW area try to do.
Update- Annie has been doing my lip filler for some time now and has really helped boost my confidence by keeping my look natural but evening out asymmetry. We’ve also started xeomin on my forehead to reduce lines from facial expressions. It’s the perfect amount to smooth my skin without freezing my face. Absolutely love all the treatments I’ve gotten! I went to Annie to remove my lip filler in my top lip. I had the filler down at another place and I was just not right for me. She corrected the issue and it looks so much better. Annie asked my opinion the whole time to make sure she and I were on the same page. She was also super fun to talk to and totally took my mind off of a bad day at work.
Updated: I came back for a follow up appointment 3 months after my initial visit. My masseters have been feeling much better. It’s not as tight as what it was previously. I got my maintenance dose of Dysport today. Please don’t wait too long to come back for a maintenance injection! It’s much easier to manage not only for yourself but also for the ones treating you. I love the staff here. They’re so sweet and personable. I came in to get an evaluation on my masseters due to excessive grinding. I have really bad grinding habits, and a lot of times it causes jaw pain for a few days. I was worried since this was my first time looking into getting injections done, but I’m so glad I did. I ended up getting Dysport in my masseters. It’s been a month now since my first treatment, and my grinding has decreased tremendously. The tension has lessened, and my face doesn’t look so puffy and round anymore due to the muscles overworking itself over the years. Overall, it was a great experience, and the staff is super nice and friendly.
Update 2025- Saw Annie again today, amazing as always. She takes care of my needs and really explains the process, excited to see my results for my masseter Botox, I know I won’t be dissapointed ! Go and see her today. Update 12/13/24- Annie is truly amazing, I will be going here for life. Kendall is great as well, very warm and inviting. I always feel comfortable coming here. Very excited to see my Botox results, as Annie never disappoints. Just come here, you won’t regret it :) Annie is amazing !! The atmosphere felt very relaxed and I was completely comfortable. I felt really safe as well while she was explaining the best way possible to achieve my desired results. I’m not even in pain now or when they injections were put in either. And I look amazing !! I’m so happy to have found her, and she is who I will be going to from now on!!
Nurse Annie is incredible! I came to her struggling with severe jaw pain and clenching due to my massive masseters, and she was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable. The results have been life-changing—my pain has significantly decreased, and I feel so much relief. I can’t recommend her enough for anyone dealing with similar issues!
